Martina Grignaffini

Martina holds a three-year  Bachelor degree in Food Science and Technology at the University of Parma and is about to complete the homonymous master’s degree course in the same faculty.

During her Bachelor trainee, Martina attented the Human Nutrition Unit Laboratory at the Department of Food and Drug – University of Parma – mainly focusing on in vitro digestion of carbohydrate-based foods and the evaluation of the carbohydrate bioavailability.

Then, Martina joined the JPI-VALID project, and – in the frame of her master thesis –  she will be involved in the preparation of the TUDA plasma samples for LC/MS-MS analysis as well as in the process and interpretation of the data. During her MS training, she will increase her knowledges concerning the bioavailability of (poly)phenols and their biological activity. martina.grignaffini[AT]
